"Come and listen…and I will tell you what He did for me." Ps.66:16

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances;   for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” ( I Thess. 5:16-18)

As I was getting ready to turn my first draft into a real post this morning, I heard this little voice in my head say, “Don’t forget about me.”  And it saddens me to say, I had forgotten.  I had forgotten to include Him, the Guest of Honor!!  How could I forget to invite the Guest of Honor to the party – a party thrown for Him?   A party for royalty.  A party for the King of Kings!!  And I had forgotten!!  :0(

“Lord,  thank You for the gift of forgiveness. Thank You for loving me in spite of my shortcomings – like forgetfulness.  Lord, please join us here on this blog.  Your amazing Word  tells us in Matthew 18:20 , “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”  Thank you for being here.  Thank You for being our Promise Keeper.  Make this blog your blog.  Make your presence known to all who enter here.  Fill these posts and comments with your Words, your thoughts, your Spirit.  May everything that is shared here bring You honor and glory.  Guide our words.  Guide our thoughts.  Protect our hearts.  May the focus of each post be on YOU and YOU alone.  Use us to be difference makers in the lives of all who stop by to visit.  Use our words as a source of encouragement.  Words to build up and not tear down.

I pray your words in Ephesians over each guest who enters here;

For through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts   through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted  and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3: 14-21)
